Notes
The Dual 800 MHz model shipped with an NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 64 MB Twinview graphics card. The 733 MHz model had no level 3 cache. The 867 and dual 800 MHz models included a 24x/8x/4x/6x/2x/1x CD-RW/DVD-R drive. The 733 and 800 MHz models had a Maximum OS of 10.4.11.
Announced in July 2001, the PowerMac G4 (Quicksilver) brought a slightly modified enclosure to the G4 line. It also included a processor speed-bump, and brought the DVD-R "SuperDrive" to the mid-level model.
The Quicksilver PowerMac was available in three configurations: The 733 MHz model, with 128 MB of RAM, a 40 GB hard drive, and a CD-RW drive, was $1,699, the 867 MHz configuration, with 128 MB of RAM, a 60 GB hard drive and a DVD-R drive, was $2,499, and the high-end dual-800 MHz model, with 256 MB of RAM, an 80 GB hard drive and a DVD-R drive, was $3,499.
