Notes
The MacBook's graphics chipset used a portion of main memory as VRAM. Though reported as a 256 MB graphics system, the chipset actually used up to 272 MB of RAM. A single 3.5mm jack could be used for analog or optical audio out, or analog audio in.
Introduced quietly in May 2010, the MacBook (Mid 2010) replaced the MacBook (Late 2009). Improvements included a faster processor and graphics chipset. The MacBook (Mid 2010) sold in a single $999 configuration, with 2 GB of RAM. Built-to-order options included 4 GB of RAM, and a 320 or 500 GB 5400 rpm hard drive.
